laboratories that test for asbestos.
We can provide bonds related to asbestos projects in addition to a
Worker's Compensation program for abatement contractors.
Naturally Occurring Asbestos
In the last few years, there have been several developments carved out of the side
of mountains and hills where veins of naturally occurring asbestos is found. The
movement of the earth disturbs the asbestos in rock, causing fibers to become airborne.
The airborne particulates are very carcinogenic and could cause mesotheleoma
and/or asbestosis, a harmful lung disease that at this time, there
is no cure.
