Underground/Aboveground Tanks
UST and AST Liability is a policy designed to satisfy state and federal
financial responsibility requirements. The policy provides a dedicated
limit of liability for third-party bodily injury and property damage
as well as corrective action coverage due to UST or AST releases.
This policy can also include coverage for business interruption and
extra expense costs resulting from a covered storage tank incident.
(An example would be a mini-mart gas station shut down for a period
of time that could prove to be a financial disaster.)
The policy can also be endorsed to include coverage for loading and
unloading releases.
